This morning I took my time and created a menu full of flavor and zest. I notice now that I created a week of vegan recipes. I didn't do this on purpose; it happened organically. Maybe it was an unconscious decision; I am not sure.
Since turning vegetarian in July, I haven't missed meat. (Well, I missed it once when I smelled bacon frying in my mother-in-law's house) I don't eat eggs often and I hate to drink milk. I usually only drink water, and when I have cereal I prefer the delicious taste of almond milk. It adds flavor with which cow's milk just can't compete. My only vegan obstacle: cheese. Oh dear, do I love cheese. How can you not love it? I have not tried any of the vegan "cheeses" because I am afraid of them. Maybe one day I will, but for now, cheese it my anti-vegan drug of choice.
