My 5K Journey

I haven't wanted to blog about my training for a 5K because I was afraid I would give up the training and then I would feel like a loser. Well- I have a different attitude about it now. I am blogging about it so that I won't give up. Anyone who reads my blog should ask me about my training so that I have accountability. I am training to be able to run/jog a 5K and I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP.  I am using the "Couch to 5k" program: The C25K Plan 

Today was week 3, day 2 for me.  Easy! Well- mostly. Today was harder than Monday.  I guess I was just tired from Billy Blanks Boot Camp yesterday.

So here I am in the beginning of my 5K journey. I don't have a race I am training for. There is one in December, but it is the day after we get home from Disney and I don't know if that would be a good idea- I have no experience so I have no idea if that would kill me.

If I don't have to repeat a week, I will be jogging/running a 5K by November 2nd.  Just in time to jog off all those holiday goodies! Wish me luck!
